Being a quiet girl in year 9 is top 10 worst things

I can't understand how boys can make it to year 9 and not have ANY HINT of social/spacial  awareness, for example, I was in English and we were doing guided reading, for the first 15 minutes we read our personal reading books and, of course, basically all the boys are bored af and can't stand nobody paying attention to them so instead of sitting quietly or daydreaming they make the most annoying noises possible. I enjoy reading a lot so you can imagine how frustrating it is to want to enjoy a quiet classroom and read a bit but instead the boy next to you decides that because he's bored, everyone must be bored, thinking he's the main character or something

One thing straight, this is not to bash boys, its not like some girls don't do this either just in my experience it is mostly boys.

Like how do you not realise you are being annoying snickering to your friends and fussing  with that book in an almost silent classroom. "who actually reads it's so boring?" me Lucas, other people exist except you and your friends. And when I tell him to stop he still does it quieter a couple more times like that was the problem, if I wanted you to be quieter I would've told you that instead of telling you to very clearly stop what you're doing. They're testing me I swear

It might just be the stress of having new teachers and maybe 4 or 5 new students [I have basically the same people in my class as the year before] but my patience is running thin and the boys always act like I owe them something.

I was in ICT and I sit next to a boy lets call him 8732 on my left in the seating plan, first 45 or so minutes of class my ICT teacher is talking before giving us the classwork and 8732 isn't paying attention and instead chatting with his friend on his left. Now, the teacher assigns us the work and I'm going through it easily until 8732 turns to me and asks me "Uh do you know what's Question 2 ?" and I tell him cause why not I'd want someone to tell me if I was stuck. But, 2 minutes later 8732 turns to me again and is like "Uh what's Question 3 ??" and the answer was literally IN the question. I already helped him out but now he's clearly taking the piss so I tell him "The answer is in the question." so instead of respecting that and using him brain, instead he becomes a little bitch going like "Just show me, click the slide right there," jabbing his finger at my monitor screen so I said "Figure it out yourself, it's not like it's hard,". Did he not get that I was being GENOROUS giving him the answer before and that it wasn't guaranteed ?? Not only that he then asked the teacher the same thing and the teacher just said the same thing I did lmao

You won't believe this but I have another story like this. In Geography and we are taking a test, first page was multiple choice and the rest was paragraph questions [3-6 marks each]. I'm great at Geography, it's boring af but I'm amazing so I'm running through it and the boy next to me just says casual as hell, mind you, 1 he's not my friend, 2 he's a massive bully and I hate his guts. "Hey so you'll just write my test for me." I'm Sorry ?? He was dead serious too he thought I would do it. "No, why would I, it's not my test is it." he keeps going, "But I'll fail." "I don't care if you fail it's not my problem." and his insecure ass says "This is why nobody likes you and you have no friends, you're not even pretty either." " I have friends they're just not you." the SECOND I refused I lost all my sense of worth in his eyes

People need to realise that I dgaf about anything in school except my teachers, the librarian, the library, my grades, finishing my homework on time and my small group of friends/ mutuals. I might have crippling social anxiety and ocd but the one thing I don't have is the ability to be a pushover I give what I get, if you're nice to me I'll be nice back, if you're a total dick don't expect me to kiss your feet, if you act like I don't exist guess what you don't exist to me either. If you don't like me you have to take a look at yourself

now don't even I have more stories like this I have so many stories I could make a whole other post. comment if you wanna see that I might make it.

Now I'm in English and I sit next to this boy lets call him 646 and everyone tip toes around him like he's made of glass one time we even had to leave the classroom because he was being violent and he was threatening the teacher and other students, refusing to leave. I was just writing in my book, he writes in a laptop cause he threw a fit, he starts complaining that omg I'm taking up soooo much room, mind you I'm not, I'm skinny and was just writing in my book like any other kid in class except whinny ass 646 on the laptop he DOESN'T EVEN NEED. Now the school laptops are pretty small so anyway its not like he need extra space. I try to be mindful so I scooch a bit to the left and he keeps on saying for me to keep moving but at this point I've moved so far that a quarter of my book so overlapping with the girl next to me. I realise he's just being a bitch for the sake of it and I move back to where I was before and I tell him "Move where, tell me 646, where do you expect me to go, you're on a laptop anyway what do you need so much space for, at least I'm actually writing," "Oh my daysssuhh, just move, you have such a big attitude this is why you have no friends you're such a bitch." I've done NOTHING to provoke him this came out of the blue, I'm sort of trembling from the adrenaline spike, we just went from 0 to 100 in 4 seconds whats going on

The girl next to me, literal angel sent from above, tries to help me out, she told me I could have her seat when we have Guided reading so that he doesn't bother me. God bless that girl fr

Now he doesn't stop there, in MULIPLE lessions not just this one he starts to like poke and nudge me repeatedly even when I tell him to stop and people can tell that this is weird they take quick glances like I don't notice or side-eyes, even the people in front of me are turning around, but they wont say jack shit because 646 might flip a damn table over it. He also starts tryna get me in trouble by lying about me like I was make eye contact with the tedacher and he was still tryna tell her "Ilinca's looking at me, Stop looking at meeeuhhh," and the teacher would just say "646, Ilinca's looking at me, so I know for a fact she is'nt looking at you." or just to keep the peace she would BLAME ME and say " Ilinca stop looking at 646," MA'AM I'M LOOKING INTO YOUR EYES WDYM. Most of the time when he would say I'm looking at him I would just tell him he's either schizophrenic or needs glasses cause theres no way I'm looking at him. And he would touch my stuff like crumple my papers, shove my book while I'm writing or fiddle with my pencil case even after I again tell him to stop he keeps doing it. He would also make snide comments like , "Isn't that ruler childish, it's got Hello Kitty on it." "Why do you have that pencil case it's obviously for kids." By his own logic he should also be considered childish for begging pathetically for fidgets from the teacher that he doesn't even need but she gives them to him anyway so he doesn't have a temper tantrum

I didn't get assigned to a different seat until a couple other people would tell the teacher it was getting mean and she finally had enough of 646's outbursts over me existing and breathing the same air as him. Even when we didn't sit next to eachother he would randomly tell me to shut up everyday when the teacher was taking attendance she would get to my name and I'd obviously say "here." then 646 would just shout loud as hell "SHUT UP ILINCA,". If you know me in school I'm like a ghost I never speak at all unless you directly ask me a question which is never so teachers usually try and encourage me to talk you can imagine how weird it was for my classmates and teacher hearing someone tell a quiet kid to shut up.

It goes on and on but I have school tomorrow so if you guys want to hear more stories Comment down below

Signing off, Ilinca
