I feel like when your a shorter person, especially if you're more feminine-people tend to treat you completely differently than the average person.
for me personally I'm always seen as a more naive or stupid friend. I talk like most people do. sometimes I get annoyed easily and somehow that's seen as cute or not as important just because I get expressive about it. people tend to ask you things that they wouldn't do to normal people-OR they pick you up, pat your head, and touch or shove you without any warning or permission. I've had people touch my legs when they sit while I'm standing. I've taught myself to just deal with it or let myself think its normal even when it's strangers i've just met touching me.
if your short and you want to be seen as strong it's almost impossible to be seen any other way but a weak person who needs everyone to do everything for them.
In my case even as someone who doesn't care about gender I'm a short, skinnier person who comes off as female(which makes sense and I'm not mad about) but it honestly ruins how I want to be shown on the outside. I will NEVER be able to know what it's like for someone to think I'm strong, I will NEVER be able to escape from a relationship where I'm constantly being called cute or "feisty."
I will be that short girl forever.Â
(not that upset about it, more like just tired and needed to blog about something.)
