being emo with curly hair

as someone whos been "emo/scene" since like 2023 and someone with 3b ish? hair? those charts  make no sense but. Its pretty wack. ive never straightened my hair but for a long time i remember just really really wishing i had straight hair. like not like im gonna straighten my hair it was like i wanted my hair to be naturally straight. and it Sucksssss and i would spend so much time on my hair every day and i felt like i always looked like a huge poser because i didnt have the stereotypical emo haircut. now lowkey tho im kinda chill about it. i mean you dont see curly hair in any of the famous myspace emos or anything but it makes me feel better seeing a bunch of guys in "emo" esque bands i like with curly hair. What is really infuriating though and ive seen this mainly in the mcr fandom with ray toro is that they are constantly enforcing that idea of curly hair = "normal" or just not alternative. like theres so many posts ive seen being like omg everyone in mcr is so emo and then theres ray😂😂😂 rays just the normal guy😂😂😂 and its like. Bro. Like he wears the exact same shit as everyone else he listens to the exact same music as everyone else you guys just say hes not emo because he has curly hair😭😭 its also a lot of racism too but im #White so ill let someone else speak on that i suppose. but its just sometjing i notice a lot and its wack.... but yea. To conclude my random stream of thoughts. Im alternative i dont care if people think i dont look emo or scene enough just because of my hair i listen to the music i dress like everyone else does if they get it they get it and if they dont they dont. If you wanna straighten your hair thats cool i dont really care but dont ever feel like you absolutely have to or else youre a poser because theres plenty of super fucking awesome emo/scene folks with curly hair. And you know what bro Yeah. i DO have a middle part. And im KEEPING it because i look fucking STUPID with curly hair my length and a side part. rant concluded
