Being queer in a homophobic country is hella depressing

I'm surrounded by homophobes. Every time the LGBT community is brought up in the news I have to cover my ears cause I know it's gonna be some queerphobic religious pseudoscience bullshit about how being gay is bad and gay people should die. I have to be in the closet at all times cause even my own family is homophobic. I only know ONE straight person who isn't homophobic and she's my older cousin who I rarely see. I have no actual friends and I can't pursue a real friendship with the kids in my school cause 9.9 times outta ten they're conservative christians who think being gay is bad, and are probably already shit talking about me behind my back. 

Just 2 years, I have to wait 2 more years and I'm moving out for good.
