good afternoon everyone!

well, after the utter disappointment that was the ren faire, i'm glad to report i now have better things to look forward to. i'm going to a fancy restaurant with my family and (hopefully) my best friend this weekend! i'm very excited, since i've only been to this restaurant once or twice and it's been a long time, plus my best friend is leaving for uni soon so i'll take any chance i can to see her more before she leaves.

in other news, i've been listening to the tragically hip more lately. i just love them! very classic canadian band, they've got a lot of fantastic music. i highly recommend, especially to canadians who have never listened to them but also americans if you're trying to get more familiar with canadian culture! they discuss it a lot in their songs.
