Bitzee Aquarium Review/I just play w a toy

I went to target for completely unrelated items, but by sheer coincidence found the toy aisle with the Bitzees. Honestly, I don't really care for Bitzee they don't really scratch that vpet itch for me usually. Until now. I'd seen the aquarium when it was first announced, but I didn't know too much about it, now I'm glad I spent that $40. 

here's the toy when it's off. It has a handle that comes up to make it easier to carry around, and the plants, ground, and background are all physical pieces within it. Which makes one of its functionalities pretty cool. I'll get to that.

here's my fishy children! it's hard to get them all on screen at the same time lol sometimes they like to hide behind things like the purple urchin is doing. 

When it comes to interacting with the pets you can knock on the glass to get their attention, spin the knob and pick one of them to give one-on-one attention to, and my favorite is you can stick your finger in the top and pet them. 

It's kinda hard to see, but my finger is inside the aquarium. Which also means you can touch everything inside the toy. I like touching the plants lol but DO NOT touch the screen inside that creates the hologram, it will instantly get dirty and I can't imagine it's easy to clean. 

You can also feed your pets with the food pellets. 

pop open this little drawer, then pop it in the designated area at the top of the toy and your fishies will chow down. be careful though, they're small and slippery I've dropped them a few times now. Luckily I've been able to find them each time but I don't wanna press my luck.

While on the main screen that shows all your pets, if you click the button in the middle of the scroll wheel it will take you to the menu. From the menu you can switch around what pets are shown in your aquarium (you can have up to 4, but can hatch as many as you want), play games which give you coins, go to the shop, go to settings, feed or give your pets some love, or the most interesting to me is you can change what mood lighting your aquarium has! There's a bunch of choices and I don't want to clog up this post with photos, but I will post a video of what the thunderstorm looks like. You can also change the colors of your fish! I love pink so I made the suckerfish and treasure chest pink.

The games are also pretty fun. My favorite is this flashlight game, it gives the most coins. Although I haven't unlocked all of the games yet. 

Your pets also do fun little animations while idle, like sometimes they fight 

or the tank will get dirty 

it's little things like this that add some charm to it.

Overall I give this a 5 outta 5 it's fun, cute, and I like to check up on them throughout the day
