Hello, eveyone! Welcome back to my blog! (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)
Happy November! Hopefully it is going well so far. (*^^*)
Today I wanted to unbox ILLIT's 5th mini album with you guys! For those of you who do not know, ILLIT is a 5-member K-Pop girl group under Belift Lab, a sub-label owned by HYBE (one of the biggest K-Pop companies in the industry). The name ILLIT comes from the phrase "I'll-It," which is to show versatility. In other words, the name is meant to show that the girls are not stuck in one box. Rather, they can be anything that they set their minds to! (๑´ω`๑)
The members are named Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha! My bias (aka, favorite member) is Moka due to her cuteness and shared interests. However, due to her hiatus (a break that K-Pop idols take for health reasons), she will not participate in this comeback (aka, song/album release).(╥﹏╥)
Breakeven, the newest edition to ILLIT's discography, was released on October 26 and contains four songs: "Super In Love," "More," "You're Under Arrest," and "Pop." During my initial rounds of listening on release day, my favorite song was "More," but after some time passed to really take in each song, "Super In Love" is now my favorite! (´▽`*) Coincidentally, the order that the songs are in is my ranking for them. As a super fan of ILLIT, I have not hated a single song that they have released (minus the English version of "Tick-Tack" with Ava Max, but I like to pretend that that release never happened... if you know, you know. X_X), but I was definitely left feeling underwhelmed with "Pop." I don't skip it when listening to the full album, but it would never be a song that I intentionally choose. However, the other three songs have taken turns getting stuck in my head!
Now that you know a little bit about ILLIT and their new comeback, let's start the unboxing! I bought my three favorite versions, so two of them are unsurprisingly very pink and cutesy. ( ੭ु´꒳` )੭ु⁾⁾

Let's start with the Photo Dump Version! :D

When I bought this version, I did not realize how tiny it is!! (°o°) The small size actually makes it all the more cute to me! ^^ Inside the box, you get the following (from left to right, top to bottom): a lyrics sheet, a stack of bound photos, two stickers, three photocards, and a mini CD!

Let's take a closer look at everything! (*˘︶˘*)
Lyrics sheet (front and back)

Stickers

Mini CD

The image does not truly show you how small this is! Let's compare it to a normal-sized CD:

I will probably never use this since my CD player works only for standard-sized CDs, but it's still such a cute touch. ^^; The other two versions I bought have normal CDs, so I'll be able to listen to the album no problem! The MP3 files will be added to my iPod mini asap.
Photo Stack

This stack is thick! Σ(°ロ°)

Obviously, this blog would be way too long if I showed every photo, so I will just share some of my favorites! :3

I love that they include all three concepts in one album! It's great for those who want to experience everything but only want one version. I did not buy the Burning Version of this album, so it was nice to have some pictures from it! (๑>∀<๑)
Photocards

If you are a K-Pop fan, this is probably the moment you are waiting for! XD If you do not know about K-Pop photocards, they are collectible selfie cards that are completely random. You have a chance at getting any member and do not know who you will get until you open an album. Some albums come with only one photocard while others include at least two. Many fans of K-Pop enjoy this part of album unboxings due to the unknown. It also feels really great when you pull a card of your bias! (´。• ᵕ •。`)
This version comes with three different photocards, and each of them, just like the stack of photos from earlier, are from a different concept. Ok, let's countdown! o((*^▽^*))o
Three!
Two!
One!

From left to right, we have a Minju card and two Wonhee cards! Ginger Minju is back and better than ever, and Wonhee is absolutely adorable! The middle card is definitely my favorite (no surprise). Her outfit and little bow on one of her nails are sooo cute! It's also nice to see blonde Wonhee again for a second era! (´∀`*)✧
Next, let's open the Quiet Version!

I absolutely adore the elegant concept since this is a new look for ILLIT! They all look so angelic! (✧∀✧)
This album includes (from left to right, top to bottom) a photobook, a folded poster, an elastic band, a CD, a US exclusive signed postcard, a sticker, and four photocards. The photocard with the blue back is actually a US/EU exclusive that is included only in albums sold intentionally. If you bought the same album in South Korea, it would not be included.
With all of that in mind, let's look at everything closer! This time, we will start with the photo book! Unfortunately for me, I did not realize that the elastic band was holding the pages together, so mine all fell out and are out of order. ^^; Hopefully it won't be too noticeable as I show you some of my favorite pictures.

I certainly hope that they continue taking photo shoots in elegant concepts for future releases! It fits all of the girls so well and gives a more mature twist to their usual cute concept. (人´∀`*)♡
Ok, onto the other inclusions!

US Exclusive Signed Postcard

The other side of this postcard has a handwritten signature from one of the members! Similar to photocards, the postcards are entirely random. These postcards can be obtained by purchasing albums on ILLIT's official US online store. (´ω`*)
Three!
Two!
One!

It's Yunah's! She is my bias wrecker (second favorite member), so I am very happy to finally have her signature! ( ´꒳` )♡ I have only one postcard for each era currently (minus Super Real Me), so hopefully I'll get a different member signature in my last album!
Photocards

Alrighty, time for my pulls! (^▽^)ゞ
Three!
Two!
One!

What a coincidence! Not only did I get one Minju (top right) and two Wonhee cards (bottom two) again, but I also pulled their US exclusive unit card (Minju on the left and Wonhee on the right)! I regularly pull Minju's photocards but never get Wonhee's, so the majority being hers is a nice change for me. :3
Lastly, it's time for the Mad Version!

This probably comes as no surprise to anyone, but this concept is my favorite. It is quintessential ILLIT in my opinion: cute with a quirky and whimsical twist that is pure fun! All that is missing is their magical girl powers. (≧ω≦) I'm also happy that we finally have blonde Yunah and Minju since I do not believe that they ever have had album photo shoots with that hair color before!
This album comes with the same inclusions as the Quiet Version, but there are definitely changes in colors and designs to match the concept. Let's take a closer look!

US Exclusive Signed Postcard

I was going to do another countdown, but unfortunately, I pulled another Yunah signature. (´ω`;) But it's not a big deal since I can easily sell the second one! Might as well make a little bit of money back!

Ok, last time! \(^▽^)/
Three!
Two!
One!

Guys, this is actually insane! Σ(oДo;;) For the third time, I pulled one Minju (top left) and two Wonhee (bottom two) photocards! I promise that I did not do this on purpose! It is entirely a coincidence! (⌁° ⌷ °⌁) ! However, Yunah (left) is making an appearance for the first time in my photocard pulls. She is joined by Wonhee (right) in the US/EU exclusive unit card!
Here is a final image of all of my photocard pulls! (* >ω<)

In total, I pulled zero Yunah cards, three Minju cards, six Wonhee cards, and zero Iroha cards! As for the units, Yunah and Minu each showed up in a different card with Wonhee.
I collect photocards for every ILLIT member (aka, "OT5"), so all pulls are good pulls! But if you do not know, Wonhee's photocards are the most expensive secondhand because she is the most popular member. Consider me lucky because the rest of the members' photocards are usually much cheaper. (´・∀・´;)
If you made it this far, thank you so much for reading! I really enjoyed unboxing these albums and hope that some of you who have never heard of ILLIT will give their music a chance! If you listened to the album, please let me know what your favorite song is! Bye bye! <3

I always get a kick out of the presentation of these albums, they include so many things. Although I can’t say I’m the type to get every edition, I just get whichever one looks the coolest to me. I’ve heard some people just take out the photo cards and just throw away the rest of the album, which always seemed so wasteful to me.
I haven’t really listened to ILLIT that much, though I’ll admit I really liked their Bomb EP, it has the catchiest songs I swear. Especially jellyous lol. It’s also so weird to see mini CDs in this day and age, I genuinely thought they didn’t make them anymore… the only album I’ve got on that format is Feel My Rhythm by Red Velvet, and that one’s from 2022.
Yesss, bomb is my favorite Korean release! It was the first comeback that I experienced from the start when I became a fan, so it's a very special era to me! The Pink Bomb Version album was also the first one that I ever preordered! :3 Since you're already a Bunny and an S2, hopefully I convinced you to maybeee also be a GLLIT? ;)
But I agree so much about the wastefulness! You can easily buy photocards secondhand for much cheaper, so it's pointless to buy multiple copies of the same version imo. (*´ー`*) You can rest assured that these albums are sitting on my K-Pop shelves joining the hoard of pink and blue albums XD

I don't really listen to Kpop, but have a friend who absolutely loves it. I'll have to ask if he listens to ILLIT sometime (゚ω゚)
Even as a not-fan it's cool to see your gets, and congrats on being lucky with the pulls (´・∀・`)b
By the way, I think that small CD is similar to old school Japanese CD singles, they're usually much smaller than regular CDs!
Thank you so much!! I've never had that happen to me before, so it was fun to share XD
As for the mini CDs, no way!! I thought they were a new thing! I suppose K-Pop stole that from J-Pop recently since I have other ILLIT albums with mini CDs. Now I wonder if CD players exist for them exist v(・∀・*)
