brown hair

so my mom got me hair dye a couple weeks ago and since I finished the semester early, I decided that I should dye it since I wasn't really doing anything. i've been telling my mom for weeks that I wouldn't think that the colour would show because I have a BLACK hair and the colour she got me was a "blonde nugat" whatever that means. anyways, I dye my hair and follow every fucking step and when I try to see the results and my hair is the same colour it was.. black. now im fucking pissed because I dyed my hair brown and I can only see it in the sun. I thought about dying it again but it hasn't even been a week since I've dyed it so I might just wait it out tbh idk yet.
