Calamity Mod's Death

For those who do play the Calamity mod for Terraria, or are just fans of the mod, I have unfortunate news. The lead dev who replaced Fabsol, Ozzatron, turned out to be a pedophile. (HOW HARD IS IT TO NOT LIKE CHILDREN THAT WAY, ISTFG). With that, the dev team has decided to cease development of the Calamity mod. There are also talks of DM Dokuro removing their music from the mod, as well as other assets being removed from other devs.

I'm ranting about this because Terraria is one of my all-time favorite games, and the mods for it are creative as hell. I don't remember exactly when I got into Calamity, but I remember finishing my first run, and it was exhilarating. The music, the sprites, the animations- everything about it felt unreal for it to be a Terraria mod. Infernum was a step above it, and I'm glad I was able to finish it sooner rather than later.

It's genuinely disheartening to see all of this happen so fast. I really do want to believe that the mod won't be canceled for good, but I just don't see that happening as of now. Fuck Fabsol. Fuck Ozzatron. Fuck Pedophiles.
