Was doing free comms and someone asked me to do their oc and gave me this photo which was done by someone else i think, but istg something is off about it... ran it through ai dectors but it says its not ai but im going insane.. does it look weird to u or nah? Idk the skill of the face blending doesnt match the beginner level skill in the clothes yk? Idk and the red pins look weird asf and why does one chain strap have 2 while the other has 3?
Guys im so cooked, cant even tell whats AI nor not now, I would feel bad if im just bashing someones art and dont wanna assume but it just looks off to me, especially how the face is so blended, like one of those IMVU avatar faces

i can very see what you are meaning,
but my first thought was that you can see exact brush they had used, its very pixelated but smooth brush that id probably see on something of firealpaca or a different web drawing program. is all about zooming in, the lines along the top collar are also individually drawn. the feeling is “yes, a human could make strokes like this” . i could pinpoint the pen i believe is the one (or similar) they used from my firealpaca
could be ai enhancement, but ai enhancement makes art look strange to.. its a bit confusing, i look to the hands and eyes first. but this art style in general looks to be a “smooth jelly” mix of style? the hand is very much so hand drawn. you can see human mistakes of lines being a little off from strokes if you really zoom in closely, if you need pictures and pinpoints can help with that to! theres a lot of other specific details i think are very human, but is very late for me and had just woken up eheh
i can really understand having trouble with what is ai and what is not, the ai has been worrying me lots recently as artist. hopefully, it will stop soon.. or just be used for things that isnt art, dont really know. either way; i would like ai to not be around much anymore (⌒_⌒;)
