So there's this person in my 6th period art class, and they seem super cool, but also very reserved. They don't talk to anyone else, and always sit by themself. Even the teacher, who always makes an effort to talk to her students and get them to talk to each other, doesn't really seem to notice them. I've been thinking about starting a conversation with them, which is a terrifying, paralyzing thing to think about.
It's important to take into account that wanting to talk to someone else is very, very selfish of me. On the social ladder I am on a rung somewhere below the special needs students. Forcing someone to endure me for even a moment constitutes an act of violence. I don't want to ruin anyone's day! So I probably won't talk to them. But I think they've noticed me looking because they've glanced back a few times. bom be dubee da. dut dut dut, heroes & villains.

ahh ! i think u should talk to them! I totally understand the anxiety surrounding starting conversations tho, esp if u find the other person rlly cool, but u seem like a A1 chiller urself so im sure ur conversation wont be as agonizing for them as u think !! :D
