Damn straight! I've been thinking about that a lot recently too like it's genuinely concerning that we can't spend a second without instant dopamine interaction from a glowing screen that has anything on earth imaginable (not always a good thing...) It is possible to just take a chill pill and go read a book, or, yeah, get a camera, or GET A FLIP PHONE THEYRE SO SIMPLISTIC. Personally the way that I do things without my phone is just imagine that I'm in the early 2000s and that all the little simple things I have are just enough! Like BOOKS, WALKMAN AND CDS, my camera, just texting friends on regular text, movies, LITERALLY ANYTHING IN PERSON GODDAMMIT. I ranted a bit too aha but thank you for the reminder!! ^_^ |

my dad will look at his phone WHILE hes driving. like on the freeway tyring to find a tiktok his brother sent him. its so scary, espeically because i have bad anxiety and i've told him to not look at his phone. God what the hell tell I'm so sorry that is terrifying plz seat in the back and if you can for your own safety. |

Btw, I'm not trying to demonize phones in any way. I just think that encouraging corporations to keep on advertising these unhealthy behaviors is not okay and that we should try to limit the amount of time we spend on our devices (not to sound like an old person lol). |
Yeah it's just crazy that most younger people spend a whole day's work of just sitting there, watching a screen. And you're right, the simplicity of flip phones are just so much nicer and aren't always trying to grab your attention 24/7, it's just made to make phone calls or answer texts.
