people are just so mean now that it makes the app not fun. people are too comfortable with their anonymity and lack of consequences. i hate seeing ppl be mean to others just for the fun of it, so i had to get off that bc it was actively making me sad. |

Not gonna hold out, whole reason I MADE this account was to actually say goodbye to tiktok, it's not fun, all my fav content is gone cause of this FUCKASS law we have, and overall it's just doom and gloom ALL the fucking time. (¬`‸´¬) |

tiktok has been like this for a long time. i fear theres no real benefit to keeping the app. maybe use youtube shorts, as i find theyre usually reposted tiktoks, but the comments at least have far more substance. also i personally just click on the youtube shorts on my homepage that interest me instead of scrolling. Tbh the only reason I stay is because my irl friend and I have a strong streak going.
