tiktok has been like this for a long time. i fear theres no real benefit to keeping the app. maybe use youtube shorts, as i find theyre usually reposted tiktoks, but the comments at least have far more substance. also i personally just click on the youtube shorts on my homepage that interest me instead of scrolling. Tbh the only reason I stay is because my irl friend and I have a strong streak going. Personally, I think TikTok was doomed from the start. I still remember stuff like YouTube in 2012, and I never saw the massive amount of ads nor AI slop back on YouTube from all those years ago. I miss it. The children yearn for old school YouTube 😔 by SCOTTPILGRIM4EVERR; ; Report |
