I get what you mean, what your describing right now could take a turn for the worst and only more confusion if you don't go about it carefully or talk about it. but in the meantime I reeally suggest you write your feelings down(yes ik you might not want to do it) but it'll be really helpful . just so you don't have too much of a hard time trying to explain to anyone how you're feeling. you could be steering towards a very hollow shell feeling where you feel like you're just viewing outside yourself . be aware as that can lead to derealization. |

perhaps you’re looking for recognition and understanding? i recommend trying to analyze yourself to figure out if social isolation is hecause of the people you surround yourself with or if it’s a flaw that interferes with your relationships. i think it’s unhealthy to depend your sense of self on the people around you. gaining criticism from others for insight is alright, but you are a real person with complexity, regardless if people see that in you or not. |

I think it's somewhat normal to feel out of place. Also I'm sure you have something that makes you unique. We all tend to be hardest on ourselves and can't see what others see. Have you tried reaching out to your friends? See if you can go do something together? People are really bad about reaching out or noticing how others are doing. I have done tests on that and wouldn't hear from anyone for weeks if I stopped reaching out. So send them a message. |
when it comes to social isolation, i believe its both a flaw (i have been trying to get over it for years) and the people i have surrounded myself
