was this posted cuz of the new age varigication laws being brought forth in a bunch of diff countries? cuz i get the sentiment but also dont agree with some of the points, cuz like yes ppl should be encuraged to just block or not engage with acc that make them feel unsafe but also in a grooming situation the child is always the victim even if they initiated it or "asked for it" because as adults it's our job to tell a child "no this isn't an apropiriate way for someone ur age to engage with someone my age" I say this because chidlren who are mentally ill will often seek out problematic relationships and still they can not be the offender because there is an inharant power dynamic at play and its on the adult who holds more power in the situation to draw that boundary. anyway I do agree that the eliets want us issolated and also problematic relationships only cause harm in someones ability to be in connection with others. anyway if this is about the cencorship i do agree that age varification laws are really problematic cuz its actually just really extreme servailance of everything u do online and its really so that the gov can stop activist movements easier.Β |

Something that bothers me these days is how people refuse to believe minors can be evil. I grew up as a terminal online teen so I got to see many minors get people's account hacked, spread rumors to get them banned, and also uh, you know. Get with older users so they can be a mod or something and abuse power. So it bothers me a lot you can not allow to scold, criticize, educate, or anything at all to minors, even if someone is 15 or 17 someone will rush in crying "they're just a child they don't understand what they're doing!" Like dayum he better start understanding then cause ours laws say he's of legal age to work and drive. |
