Iām really sorry youāve been feeling this way. Reading this honestly made me feel sad because it sounds exhausting to constantly feel like youāre trying to keep connections alive while everyone else seems to move on so easily. I donāt think the fact that friendships fade means there is something wrong with you. Unfortunately, a lot of friendships during school years are affected by circumstances: different classes, different schedules, people getting new interests, and everyone being busy with their own lives. Sometimes people drift apart without anyone being the āproblemā. About the group chat situation⦠I completely understand why that hurts. Feeling like your messages are ignored while everyone else gets responses can make you feel invisible. But please remember that a quiet response doesnāt always mean people donāt care about you. Group dynamics can be weird, and sometimes people donāt realize how their actions make someone else feel. That being said, you also deserve friendships where you donāt have to constantly fight for a place. The right people wonāt make you feel like youāre annoying just because you want to participate in a conversation. If you want to improve anything, maybe focus less on trying to make everyone like you and more on finding people who naturally match your energy. Try talking one-on-one with someone you enjoy instead of only relying on groups, because sometimes deeper friendships are built in smaller spaces.
And please donāt forget this: the fact that youāre worried about being a good friend already says a lot about you. People who truly donāt care usually donāt stop to ask themselves if they are hurting others. I hope you find people who make you feel wanted, not tolerated.Ā ļ¼ļ¼¾ā”ļ¼¾ļ¼ā” |

Honestly if they've been treating you that way, it's probably better to let those kinds of friendships stray away, because it's so incredibly draining to be around a group of people who don't even want to put in the effort as much as you do to them, speaking from experience, bc if ppl can't acknowledge the effort you put into your friendships then it's probably better for yourself to not be around them bc it's just not worth it. And bro I hope you find irl friends that will stick to you man. |
thanks a lot, I really needed to read something like this :)
