MY EX!!!!! We had been together for four and a half years and ENGAGED when I broke up with him. Partially for this, mostly for a bunch of other horrible, downright jail-able offenses. So I would always do the cleaning, and when I couldn't due to depression, or medication side effects (was on one that made me sleep 20ish hours a day), or just general illness he would berate me for not cleaning. My house has never been cleaner since he moved out. He's currently freeloading off his cousin and probably doing the same thing to her. My ex roommate was also bad. When her mom came over to visit, she would take responsibility for cleaning that I had done and tell her that I contributed nothing (she ended up dropping out of college with a 0.6 GPA because she couldn't be arsed to do fucking anything and blame others for her problems. there's a lot of lore with her too, less so than my ex, but she was awful in her own special way) |

So sorry you went through that!!! that is totally not valid for what both of them did and I completely understand.
I think your ex should have understood what you were going through at the time and perhaps found a way to help even if it was little, like anything matters at this point but the fact that he wasn't sympathetic for what you were experiencing is insane especially with the berating like... sir if you don't like something then do it yourself. ALSO I don't think you mentioned this but I'm gonna assume he never cleaned or barely did with that behavior!!!
But yes your roommate also seems to be an asshole as well T0T omg, sounds so spoiled kill me.....
I'm glad your living in a cleaner place and possibly not around incompetent people!!!

Ngl, he deserves to be locked under a jail somewhere for all the shit he put me through. He never cleaned, or did anything besides go to work and sleep. I get that he had to work, but come on, you could at least pick up your clothes you left scattered on the living room floor and half empty soda cans!

yea like, have you ever heard of a laundry basket or hamper???? I think he was taught to be lazy because I know people who work over 12 hours and still clean.....Honestly hope he gets locked up or someone throws cans of tomatoes at him because he deserves it!
