Honestly, this sounds like such a complicated and stressful situation to be put in :( I can understand why you feel stuck between believing K and wondering if V was telling the truth, especially because both sides are making really serious accusations. I think the most important thing is that you focus on what you personally know and what you can control. Right now, the only thing that directly involves you is the money and the trust between you and K. I’d probably just have an honest conversation with her and pay attention to her actions rather than only her words. If she really intends to make it right, she’ll show that by either getting you what you paid for or returning your money. Also, regardless of who is telling the truth about the other situation, the things being mentioned are really serious. If K really went through something like that, I hope she has someone supportive around her and gets help dealing with it. Nobody deserves to experience that. I also think it’s okay to be careful. Trust doesn’t mean ignoring red flags, and being cautious doesn’t mean you’re accusing someone of lying. You can care about K while still protecting yourself.
I really hope everything works out and that you get your money back or the thing you paid for. Hopefully this situation becomes clearer soon. Take care of yourself too<33 |
