lowkey me too dude. in 2022 i got super into scenemo culture and also 2000s/2010s internet nostalgia, i made a ton of scene mlp furry flash animations and got decently popular for it. i think it was a curse to let a 15 year old be popular for that because god i was annoying about it too, i was very gatekeepy as well and was trying to be morally superior than everyone else 🥲 glad that era is over because i got wayyy too many haters and trolls for being very vocal about not liking edgelords and botdf glazers. it still haunts me but it is a little nostalgic at the same time |

that’s when i got into being scene as well!!!! i think we were all annoying, but tbh i think it was a smaller amount of annoying people before the HUGE surge of annoying gatekeepers like 2023/2024
funny enough i have a similar story but i was running a ptv fancam page LOL the edits were SOOOOO bad but for some reason everyone ate it up..😭
