i noticed the same thing with noise/power electronics/black metal/metal in general. every listener is a bigot and fascist by association solely because a few artists/fans espouse bigoted and fascist beliefs. even if you don't associate with or disavow those beliefs. it's very short-sighted to write people off that way.
