tbh, a long time ago I stopped wanting to stick to just one aesthetic because I’m too lazy to deal with that kind of people. I still try to learn and try to agree with some stances of certain subcultures, but I got tired of trying to pretend at some point because of things like appearance. They tend to be way too elitist about what you’re supposed to wear. Obviously, I don’t choose to do things like shop at Shein or whatever, but I really enjoy mixing things that aren’t related to certain aesthetics and I like how it looks :p
