i agree ^^ as a colombian, i've been seeing a lot of hate towards argentina during and after the world cup. and i was honestly rooting against argentina most of the time (not because i hate argentina- some of the nicest people ik are from there! just for soccer reasons lol). but it kinda hurt to see latinoamerica root for spain, the COLONIZERS, against argentina. even i rooted for argentina ffs (,; ⩌ ;,). despite all the bad stuff happening in argentina, it's still a latin american country. it's also important to note that the same people hating on argentina turn around and cheer for america/idealize america, which has the same problems if not worse!!! |

i feel like a huge part of this has been the world cup and that really fucking sucks, it seems like lately everything that used to bring people together just rips us apart, im so sorry </3 |
