Ok I relate to a deep level I changed schools like 2 yrs ago and I made a friend group from a friend but I wasn’t friends with anyone in the group I just was with them bcz of the Mutual. and later on, me and the mutual are not that close, so I’m in this group where I’m mostly left out, I make ideas and another person takes credit , I always make the hangout have some kind of fun activity. but iv noticed that no one really gives me credit and we dont have even have similar interests like I sat with them to just sit with them… im gonna be a senior next year and im thinking of changing schools and starting fresh tho it seems everyone nowadays is grouped as u said and im still stuck I really don’t want the past to reoccur and I’ve got to add I was quiet growing up till like 8th grade so idk I have one friend but she’s like 6 hrs away I just want a good friend I don’t even care to be in a group•~• Idk if any of that made sense but I’m hoping it did , really happy to see I’m not alone in this |

i got what you mean honestly im still on the same boat so i can't give any advice but changing schools won't change anything probably? you will only be the new kid again which is fun for a while until it isn't. and for me too i have one Exceptional friend that is far away too but having different interests should never be an issue because good friends listen and care about your interests like with that gurl she knows i like miku so she got me a miku figure in my bday and ik she likes love is strange so i got her the game.
I think you should talk to them about that if they really care they will change because i felt very left out in the friend group i was in before so i left and meet my other friend group even though were not close they are not bad people, and i know you can find good people just try talking to other people in different groups it helps because you won't ever have to sit alone in lunch or something if you do that.

Well I’m still holding onto the thought of changing school but I’m not sure yet + my interests aren’t that popular where I am so that’s one reason++I also would love to be the kind of person to explore new places w friends and a ton of ppl my age they either can’t or just don’t want
And I hear a lot of ppl talk about how they made they’re closest friends outside of school like in uni or even after uni so I’m not losing hope and u shouldn’t either :)
