I had a conversation about this the other day, but I believe that Vista failed because people didn't feel the need to upgrade their PCs for the new OS, therefore it ran like garbage because it was on such old hardware. Again, not the OS' fault, and it ran perfectly fine on new machines! |

Very true, that's my main point about it being good just poorly handled by microsoft! (i'll probably cover the other elephant in the room (ME) later)
