I think that he's sparking ur interest tbh. maybe there's smth different in him that your attracted to or you see yourself in him and its making you curious and want to talk to him more. and also that doesn't exactly mean your lonely, everyone likes the right type of attention, especially when its from someone you have interest in, someone whose attention you do want.
