hi! i'm homeschooled too (have been since the pandemic) and i really relate to this post. this year is my last year of homeschool. while i can't tell you if going to school is going to go well for me, i think you should go for it. my online friends (who are mostly really shy, and all but 1 of them has an anxiety disorder) have told me that they met most of their friends at school. the self-discipline part is also difficult for me. i've started off small by forcing myself to clean up my desk and do the dishes every day, and i've gotten way better. regardless of your decision, i hope it goes well for you :) |

as horror as normal school sounds after being schooled in your comfortable house, I think it's for the better. You'll get a better academic education from actual trained professionals and be able to even meet new people and make friends.Hell, school is the earliest place in life where you learn how to interact with others.Sure it can be a bit of a pain, mainly cuz students nowadays suck, but I'd recommend to go to it one year and see how you feel, since the experience is different for everyone. If you do and like it, you won.If you don't like it, just swap back. |
I think it just sounds so terrifying cause I'm pretty sure I have social anxiety, but I think it'll also help me with that a little bit cause I'll have to interact with people I don't know more. Thank you for sharing your opinion!!
