I don't think most people think about it much, most people I'm pretty sure only think about it when someone dies or they have a near death experience that makes them realize how quick the lights could just go out one day. 

I will say, as someone who has struggled with my mental health since middle school (genetic unfortunately, it runs in my family) thinking a lot about death was mostly just my extreme anxiety at the time.

i wouldnt say im super existential, but sometimes at night i think about how this is all going to end someday. it does scare me a little to be honest… but i also find comfort in it, because its one thing everyone has in common

I don’t think we should fear it, but it’s still best to avoid it. Maybe… you don’t even have to run from a murderer… you can just step slightly out of his way… and then if he kills you, well then it was fate.

And it is average to fear death even if that doesn’t make it natural, good, or… normal.
