I started hanging around with kids in the year below me in the end, as they were much nicer and one my douchey friends followed suit to my displeasure. I became a total social outcast in my own year, well I was already but even more so. Overall I found the more fights I got into, the better everything got, the less ppl would treat you like shit. There were some alright people but I had nothing in common with them and it was boring or they were too cool for me and I could never hang around with them unless I had a door into  their crowd. I also started hanging around with my older brother's friends more outside school, and going to lots of gigs helped to feel human. Good luck!!

school friendships most of the times are a joke
