tbh, i can see the benefit to that in some way because there are some things that children should definitely not get exposed to. i mean even if we section out the content for kids and adults, the adults will still somehow infiltrate the kids space (youtube kids for an example). however, the social media bans and chat control are definitely done in bad faith and are probably just ways for the government to spy on us more discreetly |

that's also really true 😔 but removing the population who have been introduced to social media instead of the population who keep introducing kids to social media isn't gonna do anything bcs people lie about their ages all the time
