Can relate. However, I think your reasoning is flawed. This reads like you already have a conclusion about people you contact or who contact you and you're working backwards to justify giving up. I'm going solely by what you've typed here, but it sounds to me like you inherently expect the very next person you talk to or frq to be your next best friend. And then when they fail, when they ghost you or just appear to not match your effort or your expectations, it's another soul-crushing defeat. Am I misreading you? Cos if I'm not, my admittedly unsolicited advice would be to lower your expectations. Not everyone is gonna have the time nor inclination to devote to you, even though you may feel the opposite - that you would drop everything for even the slightest interaction. Also, I'd remind you about our prior discussion, how one genuine friend is worth a thousand phony "friend whores". I hope this helps. And if I misread you, I apologize. |

Yeah it’s hard to talk to people here sometimes because of time zones and stuff going on in their lives and forgetting to message u. What I do is that I focus on other things in my life like drawing. WELL YOU GOT SOMETHING TO FOCUS ON ATLEAST All I do is mostly sit on my phone and maybe watch youtube since I ain't got no social app to scroll on, and no games either cuz I'd get bored the other day and delete them I do however physical stuff, mainly feeding and giving water to my animals, since I live on the countryside but outside of that, I just play dark souls 3... basically I repeat all days with nothing new to them so yea, shit in my case sucks... also I had a feeling that you'd reply Yeah I’m online a lot now bc no school. Also since you live in the country you can walk around, idk. In the city theres little nature around and everything costs money to do so I stay inside. by C-A-S-I-O555; ; Report |

I do agree with you here actually, not everyone is always available 24/7.
I already have made a nice circle here out of all the friends I had here and it's not really huge as most seemed quite inactive.
But yeah, I'm happy with what I had here and I don't really look much for others attention.
And also you could just pretty much check out the recent blogposts to talk with other people and also have them as a friend here.

I don't mind if someone isn't like me or matches my vibe
I think that my main problem is that I spend too much time on this place that I can feel alone when nobody talks to me
I don't wanna force nobody to be my friend, but when I can go as far as 2-4 hours on this site, it can be tiring
so guess I should be more au naturel and just post some blogs, try to be as social as much with people I deem nice and spend lesser time here
