(edited) Report i'm not an avid yaoi enjoyer but i agree so much with this. i really hate how mlm ships almost always have traditional or even overexaggerated heterosexual dynamics (at least when it comes to the media ive seen), it's so rigid and lacks so much nuance to how real relationships work. it irks me when people overly try to feminize someone in mlm ships and it just feels so odd cuz it comes off as reinforcing gender roles - i feel like this can be seen in lesbian communities too where people ask ridiculous questions like 'whos the man in the relationship' because there DOESNT HAVE TO BE ONE!!! maybe im just sayinf a whole lot of nothing and reiterating your points but i do agree with them heavy 😅😅 |
