truth nuke.. I'm so tired of other people dictating what is emo and what isn't, and what to listen to.. recently i've been seeing hate on newer bands like Your Arms Are My Cocoon, Dead Butterflies, February and saying "Abandon all that twinkly emo shit and study the second wave of emo instead" like how about I listen to my gay twinkly emo shit AND know my second wave shit. I'm getting off topic but ur 100% right Exactly 😭😭😭 and then people complain emo is dead. No ur js a gatekeeper 🥹 also isn’t twinkly emo shit THE adjective for midwest emo?
