I think it would depond on on who you talk to or are friends with If you say, did like yuri, if the people you are friends with just happen to like yaoi, youl have to search further for yuri fans. |

Not really. All of my current friends either don't have a preference or prefer yuri, and finding people that like yuri has never been hard, so that's not really an issue here.
I'm talking as an ex fujoshi here, my point is that the way people engage with their yaoi ships is either consistently boring, more interesting in relation to a woman, or just a worse version of preexisting yuri in their fandom. Who I personally talk to doesn't really change that
