getting creative works from the brain to the paper is such a difficult task LOL

my biggest suggestion is DONT ERASE THE DRAFT!!!! even if its 'bad' and you hate it, keep working through it because sometimes the only way out is through. you can always go back and fix things, but its hard to move forward when youre always putting yourself back at the starting point. theres a reason rough drafts exist (even if its a pain to rewrite everything XD). 

im with you on first person pov, i cant even read it without feeling uncomfortable so kudos to you for pushing through with writing it!! if you want to write in third person pov, its completely fine to use epithets even if other people on the internet say otherwise 🙄 lol. 

ive found that having a hyper specific thing to write about (eg. answers to questions) is a lot easier than writing freely because it gives you a hard set goal.

are you always writing about the same thing/idea?? if you are you might want to give your brain a break from it and try writing about something else, even if its just a small paragraph. i know my brain gets bogged down when i spend too much time focusing on one thing/idea. this is why my homebrew dnd campaign isnt finished yet after a year XD

i know its hard but try not to get upset with yourself. this kind of stuff is completely normal because writing is HARD. the first time i ever wrote a story i WAYY over explained the details about a character's outfit.... literally over a paragraph long on it.... yikes. remember that its ok for things to be 'bad' because thats how you grow and learn.
