One of my fave classics that I own. It's a shame I didn't understand the metaphor of the story when I was in high school. Funnily enough, I read it the same year I would fall into a deep depression and then, I finally understood it was never about him being a physical bug. The book is genuinely heartbreaking and I think it does a LOVELY job at portraying mental illness and how others often see if as an inconvenience to THEIR daily lives. You're tempting me to dig in my bookshelf and find my copy 😂😂 

Yeahh, is so great the metamorphosis, u totally understand the whole book man. I recommend u read The picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (I'm not sure is it called that way in english srry), is a rlly good one too. And if u want more Kafka u can try letters to the father (again, srry if it's not called like that in english, I read it in spanish)
