(edited) Report About the fast fashion thing.im 13 years old im trying to be alt or whatever and all I have is hot topic,Spencer’s and the fucking online shops like Temu,SHEIN,amazon and Depop I personally do not buy from Temu or SHEIN because in the past all my jewelry from there quite literally fell apart and the same thing with hot topic and Spencer’s all the stuff sucks and people have been saying it’s fast fashion everywhere I go BUT I live in a VERY VERY VERY small town and it’s near like places in Mexico so like I have thrift stores here but they are FILLED TO THE BRIM with old lady clothes and old man clothes LIKE NOTHING MY style guys like at all and if I go to bigger thrift stores like goodwill it’s in a small Mexican town and it’s all filled with clothes for Latinas and all that and I literally do not know what to do so am I just a poser forever? |

And before u even say diy I can’t just do whatever the hell I want with my clothes because of my strict ass parents do not I can’t just cut up jeans or anything cuz they believe in passing things down and I’ve never really been good at anything artsy

I completely agree with you on this one, being alternative is more than how you look anyway in the first place. Also I get that, I used to be similar as well it was hard to find things and actually find stuff to use for diys. You have so much time to grow and continue to find things but i get how frustrating it can be. But yeah no its just annoying because apparently if you're not perfectly alt and super alt looking you're a poser ig... 🙄
