You are not rude for setting boundaries. What this person is saying clearly is going beyond what you are comfortable with. Do you still want to keep a friendship with this person? If so, you have to tell them how you actually feel or they will never stop. If you do not want to keep a friendship with this person, unfortunately, the only way to get them out of your life is to stop talking to them entirely. It would also help to block any alt accounts that try to contact you. You need to put yourself first in this situation. The fact that this person wants you online 24/7 to the point where you aren't sleeping gives me major red flags. I know it can difficult, but I believe in you! The fact that you even posted this in the first place is a good first step! Keep that courage going.
