In the show "The Vampire Diaries" there are these objects that contain "Prison Worlds" in them. Almost perfect copies of the real world on the date they where made, but with little/no people. Now granted they usually harbored something monstrous/unsafe... but it was ONE being, compared to the BILLIONS that exist in the real world. You will experience the same day over and over again... but if you get the choice and could pick the right season/temp its truly irrelevant especially when you factor in that if you get bored you can just... travel. To anywhere. I always thought that seemed very freeing. To get to experience life without all of the extra drama of humanity, to just live. Sure Id miss the possibility of meeting people, but most people I've met have not stuck around or have hurt us in some way, so as long as i had my kids/pets with me i don't think it would bother me so much anymore. |

OMG, I remember that from TVD!!!
I'm also glad that someone shares the same feeling, I always felt partially alone for this feeling.

A fellow tvd enthusiast thats cool :). Im sorry that you’ve felt alone. Unfortunately life/people have a way of making you feel that way at times. Especially with the constant pressure and demands. I hope you’re able to find somewhere that gives you the break from society and people that you need. Ive kinda been looking into ghost/abandoned towns for this reason but most aren’t safe to inhabit or are fairly pricey.

That's also so cool!! although it would be nice to rebuild a abandoned home I would be freaked out if a bunch of random teenagers came in to vandalize it if its a commonly known place to abandoned LOL

True, there are ways around out purchasing a place thats been abandoned for large amounts of money, but even if you where to get it… most people that have heard it had been abandoned would try to break in even after you got it in your name. Thats à scary thought and would Probably require lots of security.
