This is such a beautiful goal that i aspire to get to. if you're up for recs i would recommend reading the political/history books,  the manifesto is a good start but awfully too long, however there is a summary version of his book being sold!

It would be insanely cool if you updated us on your journey and what report its read from 💪

I'm 100% planning on documenting my journey not only to hopefully inspire others but also to hold myself accountable 😅

Any books you would suggest for me to read?

So cool!! Great goals to have! People have many many careers in their life. It's also good to have options!

My (unsolicited) advice😀: I tell my students all the time about free online courses out there. Harvard has a bunch.

I also found this one specifically for journalism https://nbcuacademy.com/course/fundamentals-of-journalism/

Lots of people are doing investigative journalism on social media like Substack or even TikTok videos. (not exactly a degree, but would scratch the itch and give you practice)

You got this!

Thank you so much for the link!! Right now I'm debating between substack or wordpress or just overall my own website.

Highly recommend you do to some existing pagan gatherings/spaces and check out what's there and who's doing what

Yea 100%, I'm trying to find some communities in nyc❤️

Back in the 90s, my HP and HPS were getting married, wanted a pagan ceremony, but had trouble finding legal clergy in those days doing that. They eventually found a druid group in NYC that would perform the ceremony, and since they got married in a park, one of the local college's anthropology department heard about it and came out to 'study' their wedding ceremony. Seems theirs was the first legal pagan wedding ceremony in NYC at that time 😆 nearly twenty years later, my HP and HPS performed my wedding ceremony 🙂

Anyway, there are lots of groups in and around the city, of course. If you have trouble locating, check in with the local Unitarians

That's so beautiful ❤️❤️

Look for a local CUUPS chapter, or see if ATC is active in your area. Of, if you want to go Druid, see if the ADF has a grove near you.

I kinda confused on what CUUPS are. Are they like churches that host pagan events sometimes??

Also I was doing some research and found a bar that host witchy events. I WILL be going, hopefully find some like minded ppl🤗

Yeah, they are a unitarian church that hosts pagan clergy.

About the bar. Go. Have a great time! Watch out for anyone who has paganism to sell you.
