i feel you man :-( selective mutism has been kicking my ass since i was in elementary school and now that i wanna work as a tattoo artist (which ofc it involves customer service stuff) i know its gonna be super hard. i only nod or shake my head to answer and some people have made rude comments to me over it irl. i just want you to know that you're not the only one feeling like this and i seriously do hope that eventually you can get over this!! i think SM should be mentioned a lot more in neurodivergent spaces tbh
