The ways in which people are perceived can vary so wildly from person to person. A close friend could have a completely different view on you to a family member of yours. Part of this could be expression, in different situations and scenarios people express different aspects of themselves. I think technology pushes this further as in the digital realm often times we are not limited by our physical form; we are often free to manifest ourselves how we please. Many people manifest themselves so differently in different digital realms. Especially in video games with customizable characters. As an example in one game you may choose to manifest yourself in a way that is similar to how you exist in the real world yet in another game you may choose to exist as a woman for example when you are male. Or maybe a tiny blue flying chicken that screams and does money spreads, when in reality you are a broke human being. Of course I don't think it is that deep for everyone as it might just be funny to be a tiny blue chicken screaming. But I think in some situations it can be deeper. Some people might want to explore being something they are not in another realm. For others they may feel restricted by those around them or their selves and not be able to or be too scared express an aspect of their being and choose to only express that part of themselves in a digital world or not at all. But ultimately all of this is still an expression of oneself. Ones own chosen manifestation in a realm. I wonder what a world in which people transcend the being of their body would look like? How would people exist if not restricted in any aspect by the way they were born. And if this world also did not have the stringent standards on how we be. One day will our souls be free? Are our souls freer from the way in which we physically exist than ever before? Am I a tad tired maybe and might read this going what the heck and write a new blog post about a similar topic? idk
thanks for reading :D and good day/night to you all!
