Curly hair is just a whole big freaking trust the process mess. I don't know HOW people's hair looks good with a curl cast, BUT MINE DOES NOT. I'm only saying this because I just got done doing my hair and I have a curl cast around my curls, AND I LOOK SO CHOPPED. I CANT GO OUT LIKE THIS. Especially because my roots are puffy, but my tips are defined. I only allow my roots to be puffy because it helps with volume, but when I'm just finished with my hair, I look like the boogyman. Even then, it's like Russian roulette whenever I have to see how my hair looks in the end. IT'S LIKE I'M WALKING ON THIN ICE??? sigh.

i undertsand your pain girl. i've recently started trying to acctually do my hair and everytime my middle part COMESS BACK. its been like WEEKS and it comes back everytime. the top of my head is super flat ad the rest is curly. idk what to do and im contemplating getting the emo/scene cut and sticking with that until i kill my curls.
OMG I HATE MIDDLE PARTS WITH A PASSION!!! The only thing that helps me is using a hair pick or a wide tooth comb to make the roots go up :(
