current update on caleb life (combo gig, homecoming, marching band, beginning of school, testosterone)

hi!! I always loved making blogs on soachey so I figured.. why not here? To start off,, school started!! probably couldnt tell haha. I dont have maymny of my old friends left sadly,  or I guess good in my case. Reading my past blog you can probably understand why. But I have so many new and amazing friends that I love!! so its not all bad. Including my wonderful awesome boyfriend #loveyoubaby. I am doing a LOT this year in terms of music stuff. I started a combo group!! its a jazz band thst goes around and plays little gigs when needed. and guess what... a gig was needed TOMORROW!! tomorrow is my FIRST GIG with my group. I organized the whole thing because I personally really wanted to do it and everyone just decided that IM the leader i guess..

Im hesitate to share names on here because I share a Iot about my personal life, including my face and I just feel like im very track down - able haha. Im also just very paranoid of that happening so ill just call the people by their instruments. There's three juniors: me (i play alto) a trumpet, and the drummer. Then two sohpmores: a bass and guitar and one pianist whos a senior.  He joined 2 days before out gig (so YESTERDAY) and were not gonna have him play... but he'll be there for our next gig later in october. We have 3 set gigs. One tomorrow,  one late october and one in November. 

during last marching band game (yesterday) a drum major from last year showed up! we were catching up and he told us that we should totally do a jazz competition in our area during march. which ahh!!! he said to get started now... so maybe we'll have to haha ill tell the other guys after this gig.. 

oh and the gig is for HOMECOMING BTW... I never mentioned that. WERE NOT GONNA BE THE MAIN ATTRACTION. in the cafeteria is the main area with the shit dj but since the theme is "night in vegas" there will be extra stuff and games in the courtyard where we will be!! its gonna be ao fun but im SO nervous.. I habe so many solos!! everyone says im really good but i don't think I am. 

trumpet says im like my freshman year drum major. He was a really good soloist bur NEVER knew his cords.. like bro yes.. I AM NOT LEARNJNF ALL THAT!! i am reading the head and trying my best to play within the cord

ill definitely take pictures! if i can. drummer said his friend is gonna get some so maybe I can coax him to get some on my digital camera. It's kinda broken tho.. the lights last night blew out the lens but I think its okay... its just like blegh right now I dont know what happened.. I bought a new one but it won't be here until Tuesday. During marching band last night me and my friend kept making the photographer get a ton of photos of us during the game. I kinda hope we dont show up on the Instagram but we probably will..

also the songs were doing are: killer joe (opener), jojo Calypso, doxy, mercy mercy mercy, mr PC, and blues in the closet

mercy mercy mercy and mr pc are my favorite. We would've done more but we had 2 weeks so... 19 minute solo for caleb!

also we get in for free! AND OUR PLUS ONES!! which is AWESOME!! 15 dollars for one ticket HELL NO!!! It'll be really fun i cannot wait wait wait!!!

life update but ive already made two blogs about this,, IM ON TESTOSTERONE YAYYY!!! almost two weeks on Monday. No big changes yet! more oily skin, first voice crack yesterday, and increased hunger + weight gain (2lb). feeling great and I cannot wait for more changes.

hmm yeah I think thats it!! more blogs to come soon mayhaps
