darkness

That desire awakening in me aching my body to a brief death, I think I used to witness the divine presence but now when I look at the stars they seem to fade away, everything is fading away, far away in the vast darkness of the universe, where light is oddly forbidden, where souls like mine hide from the living .. they no longer know if it's because they're scared of the light or simply themselves, it's all dark here, it's all painful, sucking the remaining sparkle within your eyes, until there's nothing left to see.
