DEAD MAN QUOTE

And doesn't this remind you of when you were in the boat, and then later that night, you were lying, looking up at the ceiling, and the water in your head was not dissimilar from the landscape, and you think to yourself, 'Why is it that the landscape is moving, but the boat is still?' And where is it you're from?..."

This is the first line of Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man, a movie that completely changed my brain chemistry and is the source of my profile pic. Crispin Glover approaches our hero abruptly and just starts saying it with no lead in and even in context it doesn't make much sense and it really just serves to foreshadow the movie's ending. But something about it sticks with me. It pops into my head sometimes in the most random circumstances. And yeah I don't even have much of a reason for sharing just as he doesn't have much of a reason for saying it. Just kinda makes your brain feel fuzzy reading it. Go watch Dead Man
