I received this birthday notification today and it made me sad. Earlier this year, I found out she died last year. Two virtual friends' deaths that I learned about this year are a bit overwhelming. She was one of my K-pop fan friends 15 years ago. We lost touch for years and in 2022, I suddenly remembered her so I reached out. We didn't talk much but reminiscing about the past, how we had call signs (she called me Malijul and I called her Jjamixx) and our spazzing over K-pop will always be a part of me. It will never be forgotten.
