I've been there when it comes to depression, as someone whose diagnosed with depression it can be very difficult to manage. My recommendation is to make sure that you talk and work very closely with your doctor. Meds are suppose to make you feel better, not like a zombie. I recommend making sure you work closely with your doctor, find a good path, work on recognizing and treating symptoms, and lastly ensuring that you know when to recognize you need to up your dosage again.

I promise you that life is worth it, getting better is worth it, and working through this is worth it. I know that it's a lot of manage, it's a lot for anyone. But working on treatment, working on getting better, working on improving yourself, working on feeling your absolute best is always worth it in the end.

As someone who has made it out the other side of the depression, who is medicated, who is feeling better: it is the best feeling in the world to finally be able to appreciate and love yourself and life. Make sure to work on it for you, nobody else, just you, because YOU are worth getting better. If you really need a push, do it for your friends, for a pet, for a partner, for anything and everything.

I hope you start feeling better soon :)
