Diary of an unlucky gifted teenager : Layer 02 : Normal and abnormal

My friend and I are completing an app that we want to show to the administration so that we get privileges, most of the time, he's coding with Claude and I'm testing that stuff and playing MW2 (2009), it's loads of fun, and also COD4 (2007), I've also managed to overclock the Toshiba's GPU. But yeah, anyway away from the technical stuff, I've done pretty much nothing, lessons are boring, the teachers seem lifeless, and school seems detached from real life (the screen is glitching - thanks Overclock). Not really anything special at home, eat, study, then sleep at 9 while other kids sleep at 1AM or something. I call this my normal life, and this routine doesn't break until there is some kind of huge ass event or something.

Anyway I will tell you how I got an M4 MacBook Air from a parliament member.

So, in April of this year I was invited to GITEX 2026 (google it, its like Africa's biggest tech conference), because I was interviewed a few years ago for my tech skills and even spoke at the Google DevFest 2022 conference. My Arabic teacher went with me and we went to Marrakesh in a Parliament car, Perks : comfort - not being stopped at checkpoints or by the cops in the middle of the road...

Problem ? Entry to GITEX was 18+ only (and we got locked out because of an Indian guy who told us minors arent allowed to enter and even told the cops to get us out). And the person who invited us was that Parliament member (Her name is Zaina Idhali), soo when we arrived in Marrakesh and tried to enter through the normal door, a representative from her gave us badges but when we tried to get in the Indian dude stopped us. And so we went to the VIP door, the guards in there also stopped us (one of them was sarcastic at us), and the representative called a few people, until 10 minutes later, when one of the men's walkies got a message and when he lift it to hear, he heard the Parliament member asking to get us in. And so we got in (lol I don't have pictures of the inside of the conference since my phone was wiped shortly after I went back, I think I may have them on my SD Card), I met her, and a few other important people and Idder Moutia, then she told me to choose what laptop I want (yeah, that casually), I picked a ASUS ROG laptop, and that was that, she also booked for us a five star hotel for a couple days. My teacher told me she's prob lying since all politicians make shitty promises. My parents told me that as well, and I knew it too. I saw in that conference an RGB DESKTOP PC WITH A 240 Hz display lolol. Anyway a few months went by, I got that HP from the french students who visited my hometown and on September 1st, the Parliament member called, she said she was coming, so we took the entire day to prepare for her coming, she came on a Mercedes e200 with leather seats, with her was the driver, a one person security detail and her assistant ig, and she gave me the M4 Macbook air. I was shocked because it wasn't the Asus but I didn't mind..
