different influences and people with different experiences

    This is like well known but I've just now recently come to this realization that it's good to have a very diverse amount of friends of varying ages and experiences because I've been learning things and perspectives that I have never really thought about, or would have considered. I like having different friend groups for different things, being friends with people who are interested in different things than me, and also being friends with people who share common interests, it's all pretty nice.  Being friends with people older than me also make me feel a little more hopeful in my future, looking at them and their lives reminds me that the world won't end when I'm 18 and there's still time, I Think.
