okay, this may be controversial, but if you’re under 18, know that your parents are homophobic and want to come out to them: don’t.

I’ve heard about so many people getting kicked out just because they came out to their parents, even though they knew their parents wouldn’t accept them or would treat them like dog water.

Wait until you’re stable, and keep it to yourself or tell only your friends. When you’re independent and stable, you can tell your parents. What are they supposed to do kick you out or cut you out of their lives? Well...maybe. But at least you won’t end up on the street.
